Who we are

The Young ISSAD Team is a global initiative dedicated to connecting and supporting student and early-career researchers working on Group B Streptococcus (GBS) research. Our mission is to empower early career voices within the GBS community and expand our global GBS network.

The Young ISSAD Team periodically holds webinars with experts on various topics related to GBS, sharing the latest achievements and current trends on GBS research within our community.

In 2023, the Young ISSAD Committee members organized a series of webinars with experts in GBS research and published blog posts to promote the ISSAD conference that happened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
